Hi everyone Just wanting advice from anyone who is in the same position or has been and had results with getting rid of middle of night feed. I have tried letting him cry it out but only lasted 30 mins and that was with me rocking and holding him I have tried water and only giving him a small amount of milk but he is hungry and wants it all. He isnt a good feeder during the day and I know if he dropped this night feed then he would pick it up during the day any advice would be great!! Health nurse has told me to let him scream it out but 4 hours of screaming till the morning seems a bit extreme.My first son slept 12 hours over night from 9 weeks.
